One of the methods I use for “pointing out”, is the tree in a field exercise–
First I tell the person to imagine two trees in a large field they have never seen before– When they have done this; I ask them to zoom in on a blade of grass, and ask them to zoom in on a leaf of a tree– If I do not feel any other place worth pointing out, I then proceed to point out about the nature of this experience–
I begin to discuss what I consciously told them to imagine, and then I call upon them to observe the details that just emerged with it– These are the fairy realms I would say; the hidden rules which coincide with our conscious imagination; there are the things we imagine, and then there are the things we unconsciously imagine in what we consciously imagined–
This idea; leads us to begin looking into the peripheral of the consciously imagined, to see the forces that come in and give shape to that focus–
So now; I have talked about my heavenly abode and perfect dream; which are etched with a brilliant gold leaf–
What is this Gold leaf?
Now, I tell you to imagine something different in this practice– I want you to imagine your greatest dream.. That image which sparks your hearts delight– Hold that image, gaze into it, and recognize the same as above, notice how much goes into that image to create that singular focus which holds that glory–
The golden leaf, is that exact point in the image where the light is revealed; all else, is but the shadow of the light–
That is to say– The light that the image holds is formless, and yet; we must hold onto these precious forms that allow us to glimpse it– When we clear out the image so that only that “Exact form” that holds up the light is clear; we create a golden template, or gold framed expression from the branches of our nature, which allow the leaves to carry the wind into a higher quality image– A focus that continually falls in upon itself–
