Just to say, my idea of compassion is the direct witnessing of how we are all connected– It is not a matter of putting others first, or putting yourself first; this is the kind of compassion that cannot see, or blind compassion–
However this direct knowing of each other as part of yourself; can come into a million different ways of reflecting the situation, which is the art of the wisdom itself–
There is that which we “know” and then that dance of how we make conscious that knowing in our reflections; which is the wisdom of the compassion itself– So, if one of true compassion, appears to be thinking of others, or appears to be thinking of themselves; it is just the manner of how the wind came across the chimes, to express that compassion in the dynamic of the formless moment–
The “philosophy” expressed of a realized person; is just a shimmer of the realization– The wisdom is in the living aspect of this philosophy, that the philosophy is not one way of thinking that allows us to interact with the world; but that it is a living being who reflect their heart into the conditions using the true philosophy of the moment; which is a knowing of their own heart in the momentary conditions–
You know; the person who is lost in the currents will get lost in the definition of reality that one is presenting to them; then they will lose themselves in the argument; they will say that reality is like this and like that and what not; and miss the heart of the being that is there–
But if you really see the heart of the being; their definitions of reality do not matter in the same way, they are not trying to express nature; nature is already expressed; they are trying to express their heart in the conditions of that nature-
