Okay– So, the crown of thorns is your intellect, and the heart is the source of emotion–
As we clear away our intellect (so that we think squared to the paradox); we place the crown upon the heart– What this does is create through the intellect a chamber of emotions, which become a crucible– A cross between the intellect and heart is capable of being created–
Think of the crown sitting upon the top of the heart in the flames– Now imagine, that is you looking down into your heart through your intellect; and now you can look closer at your heart because you have cleared the drudge that kept you from seeing through your logic–
Now imagine that the emotions make the hearts different colors; and the way the light shines upon the crown of thorns creates the shadows we deal with; each one a unique chamber in the labyrinth– the blue heart is navigated on a different structure of logic then the red heart–
This is, purifying the different conscious aspects of yourself; by placing the heart in the crucible and using its heat to shape the logic–

This creates both a calm and centered sense of exterior in expression; however a raging torrent of volatile interactions arises inside the heart as it transforms the sense of self–
Secondary note: the piercing of the heart as to deal with the “glitch” of creation; that irreconcilable aspect of our realization– The fact that no matter the coherent outlook we create, something goes on unexplained; something happens that cannot be accounted for–
